The Museum of Archaeology takes part in the BambInFestival together with other Museums of the University Museum System. From 19 to 28 May the first completely free festival dedicated to children and their rights returns to Pavia and its surroundings.

BambInFestival, which has enlivened the territory since 2010, returns thanks to the precious contribution and availability of an important network of 80 associations, realities, groups and institutions that have built a rich and varied calendar of 66 initiatives and proposals suitable mainly for an audience from 0 to 10 years old. Children and young citizens will be able to inhabit the city by immersing themselves, together with their families, in many educational, artistic and cultural experiences designed just for them. This is a cultural initiative that is the result of the will of many realities that animate the territory, to build a city capable of welcoming the little ones and giving them the space they are entitled to. The complete programme is distributed in printed form in all the city’s nurseries, kindergartens and primary schools.

The new generations embody the present, they are the first citizens to whom we must turn our gaze and attention: a city that is child-friendly, welcoming and accessible is a happy, beautiful and safe city for all its inhabitants. And it is precisely with children that BambInFestival wishes to cultivate wellbeing today in order to build a better future together, letting ourselves be inspired by the 2030 Agenda with its 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which, like a weave, run through the initiatives and call us to responsibility and commitment.
