Prehistoric finds

Collection of prehistoric finds (Stone, Iron and Bronze Age)

A wall display case is entirely dedicated to Prehistory and Protohistory, with finds from various settlements in ancient Lombardy: stone and bone tools, chipped and polished flints, blade-scrapers and arrowheads. The protohistoric pottery is coarse and hand-crafted. A spearhead and bronze fibulae, bracelets and rings, some of which decorated with globes, are also visible in the same display case. These finds witness the underlying indigenous cultures of northern Italy, on which the process of Romanization impacted in historical times.
