FIVI meets Pavia” returns on 24 October at UniPV: guided tours of the Archaeology Museum

FIVI meets Pavia” is back at the University of Pavia. For this 2nd edition the university will host 40 FIVI Winemakers, the Italian Federation of Independent Winemakers: not only Oltrepò but also Colli Piacentini and Tortonesi.

The appointment is for Sunday 24 October from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Pavia Central University, as two years ago.

Wine has always been Culture and Territory, and together they can best express themselves.

The proceeds from the day will go towards the University Museum System and the University of Pavia research project: “Archaeology in the land of wine” https://universitiamo.eu/campaigns/archeologia-nella-terra-del-vino/

There will also be guided tours of the UniPV Museum of Archaeology and the University of Pavia’s central building in its historic location.

The Museum of Archaeology will offer guided archaeo-enological tours in the Museum (entrance in the passage between the Cortile delle Magnolie and the Cortile Sforzesco):

  • Prof. Stefano Maggi at 11.00 a.m.
  • the Museum Director, Prof. Maurizio Harari, will hold 2 visits, one at 5 pm and the other at 6 pm.

To avoid crowds at the ticket office and for better organisation of the event, a link to the direct sale of tickets has been activated on Vivaticket: https://bit.ly/la-fivi-incontra-pavia

In this way, only ticket and Green Pass verification and the distribution of pockets and glasses will take place at the entrance.
