From 26 April, when Lombardy enters the “yellow zone”, all the University Museums will reopen on the basis of the Minister of Health’s latest Order of 23 April. Based on the size and characteristics of the premises open to the public, as well as the flow of visitors, their safe opening to the public will be guaranteed by a restricted access procedure or, in any case, one that avoids crowding and allows visitors to maintain a distance of at least one metre between them.
The Museums will also reopen on Saturdays and public holidays, with compulsory online or telephone booking at least one day in advance.
Timetables and information can be found on the web and social pages of each museum.
All the University Museums will be closed for the first of May, but from Sunday 2 May onwards many new activities and events, including open-air ones, will be held every weekend to (metaphorically) re-embrace visitors.
The Museum of Archaeology opens on Mondays from 2pm to 5pm and on Thursdays from 9am to 12pm.
