Culture doesn’t stop!
Since 24 February 2020 the Museum of Archaeology has been closed due to the health emergency linked to the coronavirus pandemic, but we have decided not to stop!
In fact, we believe that culture is something essential for the well-being of the individual and society, just like food and medicine, and that culture should not only be preserved and protected within the museum space, but should also be communicated, told and shared.
Despite the forced closure, the Museum wants to stay in touch with the public and invites you to follow a series of illustrated narratives on the new #RaccontaMuseo page (homepage link top right). This will allow you to get to know the exhibits in the Museum’s collections and you can put your favourites in your diary to come and enjoy them in person when the Museum finally reopens to the public.
