NonSoloMusei cycle tour – The University and the city
Bike tour dedicated to sustainable tourism, culture, community, rediscovery of places through the central streets of Pavia and the University Museums.
On Saturday 18 September 2021, on the occasion of the IT.A.CÀ. Festival of Sustainable Tourism, the University Museum System of Pavia, together with FIAB (Federazione Italiana Amici della Bicicletta – Italian Federation of Friends of the Bicycle), has organised a guided bike tour through the most characteristic streets of the city, passing by some of the University Museums, where short stops will be made in the outdoor areas. Here curiosities and exclusive stories will be told, linked to the museum collections on the themes of “getting back to breathing” and “sustainable mobility”.
The meeting point for the departure will be in Piazza della Vittoria at 15.00.

The Museum of Archaeology will present the works of contemporary artist Clemente Tino Rossi inspired by the theme of the relationship between colours, lights, objects, territory, environment, human beings and dreams. Two of the artist’s luminous bicycles will accompany the group on the cycle-tour and some of the works will remain on display in the Museum from Saturday 18 until Thursday 30 September 2021 to celebrate European Sustainable Mobility Week.
