Autumn workshops. After the summer break, the Piccolo Chiostro Study and Conservation Centre in Pavia has resumed its conservative restoration work on plaster copies of famous works of classical Greek sculpture in the Museum’s collection of plaster casts. Restorer Silvia Marchioron is putting the finishing touches to the splendid Nike of Samothrace.
We are carrying out these interventions also thanks to co-financing from the Lombardy Region.
