EVENT CANCELLED AND POSTPONED TO DATE TO BE DECIDED Finissage exhibition Tomoko Nagao and conference prof. Salvatore Mangione, Saturday 29 February 2020


On Saturday 29 February 2020, at 11.00 a.m., in the Aula Scarpa of the University of Pavia, the lecture “500 years of Leonardo: a lesson in creativity” by Prof. Salvatore Mangione, MD Associate Professor of Internal Medicine and Director of the History of Medicine Course at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, will coincide with the finissage of Tomoko Nagao’s exhibition “Leonardo reimagined”. Appointment at 10.30 a.m. in the Museum of Archaeology to see the works and meet the artist (entrance in the passage between the Cortile delle Magnolie and the Cortile Sforzesco of the Central Palace of the University of Pavia, Strada Nuova 65). The Japanese artist’s talk and the conference have been organised by the Museum of Archaeology and the University of Pavia Museum System as part of the ongoing Leonardesque celebrations in Pavia. Professor Mangione’s lecture is also part of the side events of the Looking for Mona Lisa exhibition organised by the City of Pavia – Culture, Tourism, Commerce, Events and Territorial Brand Sector.
Free admission to the conference and the finissage.
The Museum will be open to the public from 10am to 1pm.
