Treasure hunt in the Gipsoteca

On the occasion of the opening of the fourth Saturday of the month, 25 May 2019, the Museum of Archaeology of the University of Pavia will be open to the public from 3.30 to 6.30 p.m. From 4.30 p.m. onwards, the Museum will take part in the BambInfestival by offering a “Treasure hunt in the Gipsoteca”. Children will be introduced with a short visit to the collection of plaster casts reproducing works of the most famous Greek statuary and will learn to recognise some gods and heroes protagonists of mythology, a privileged subject of ancient art. Audience: 6 – 11 years old.
BambInFestival is the first festival in the city of Pavia and province entirely dedicated to children, organised from 17 to 26 May in Pavia by CSV Lombardia Sud – Pavia territorial office, thanks to the synergy and collaboration of more than 100 associations and bodies in the area.
